There is no single standard calendar size; printable calendars commonly use US Letter or A4 paper.
Calendar sizes depend on the format
Home-printable calendars are commonly designed for US Letter or A4 because those sheets fit everyday printers. Desk calendars, wall calendars, poster calendars, and pocket calendars each use different dimensions.
Orientation matters too. Landscape gives a monthly grid more horizontal writing space, while portrait leaves more room above or below the grid for notes or artwork.
Pick the right printable size
- Use US Letter for 8.5 x 11-inch paper.
- Use A4 for 210 x 297-mm paper.
- Select Actual size when the file and paper match; select Fit when they do not.
