What is the size of a piece of printer paper?
Standard printer paper is usually US Letter at 8.5 by 11 inches or A4 at 210 by 297 millimeters.
The two common printer-paper sizes
Check the paper package or printer tray guide before printing. The PDF page size and the paper loaded in the printer should match when you want the calendar to print at its intended scale.
- US Letter: 8.5 x 11 inches (216 x 279 mm), commonly used in the United States and Canada.
- A4: 210 x 297 mm (8.27 x 11.69 inches), commonly used in most other countries.
Choosing a calendar file
Use a US Letter calendar for Letter paper and an A4 calendar for A4 paper. If the sizes do not match, select Fit in the print dialog and inspect the preview for unexpectedly large margins or cropped edges.
